IMPERIAL RESCRIPT
ON THE APPOINTMENT OF
BARON JINICHI YASHIRO TO
THE PRIVY COUNCIL
BY THE GRACE OF HEAVEN, We, Emperor of Kazoku, seated on the throne occupied by the same dynasty from time immemorial, enjoin upon ye, our loyal and brave subjects:
WHEREAS Watanabe Kuroichi has petitioned us to appoint His Excellency Baron Jinichi Yashiro to the Privy Council, and felling that his advice is most acceptable.
AND THAT we feel that His Excellency Baron Jinichi Yashiro, our most loyal Aide-de-camp and Commander of the Supreme Order of the Sakura, shall fulfill the duties of the Privy Council prescribed in the General Provisions of our most glorious empire.
THEREFORE we appoint His Excellency to our most loyal and wise Privy Council. With that we grant him the honors and titles of a member of the Privy Council.
Signed with our own hand, at the Imperial Palace in the capital city of Yamato, on the Twenty first day of the Third month in the thirty first year of our reign.
